Prove your skills and win Intel’s Threading Championship* for 2008. The competition consists of two rounds.

Round-1 checks your knowledge on Threading Concepts. You need to answer 20 questions of varying levels of difficulty. The more difficult the question, the more points you earn. You can score a maximum of 90 points in Round-1. The qualifying score for Round-1 will be decided by a panel of judges depending on the average score of all participants. Round-1 is open from June 18th 2008 to Aug 27th 2008.

Round-2 is a Coding Contest, open only to qualifiers of Round-1. The contestants will have to submit the best threaded solution for the problem set presented. The entry will be judged based on the following criteria:
• 25 points for solving the problem set
• 0-25 points for coding elegance
• 0-25 points for code execution timing / performance
• 0-25 bonus points for using Intel® Threading Building Blocks in the solution
Round 2 will be open from Sep 15th 2008 to Oct 15th.

Prizes:
• Winner gets a cash prize of Rs.10,000 and the Intel Threading Championship Cup
• Runner-up gets a cash prize of Rs.5,000
• All Round-1 qualifiers get a Threading Champion certificate of participation
